Tigress is Open!
Friends,
I am writing with such excitement as I launch my in-person shop Tigress! Tigress is located inside Outer Loop Arts in downtown Durham. I am thrilled to be joining ceramicist Julie Hinson, maker Kelley Triplett, and comic artist Adam Rosenblatt at this amazing artist studio and shop, which is also located on the Third Friday Art Walk, (and across the street from Mezcalito & Ponysaurus). My original art will ongoingly be up and available in the Outer Loop gallery as well, which is equally thrilling.
I would love for you to stop by and check out Tigress - I have curated a collection of clothing, jewelry, homewares, and gifts that are very special and which I think you will truly love. My vision for Tigress has come true: A shop that sources from fair trade and independent designers and makers. I am especially thrilled to partner with companies like Etica Denim and Anchal, to name a few, who are intentional and only source from fair labor factories and artisans, with a commitment to environmental sustainability. I take pride in also sourcing from a wide variety of creative makers, who inspire me with their thoughtful, unique, small-batch products. A plus of setting up in this communal space is that I can keep my pricing as reasonable & inclusive as possible.
I have been dreaming up different iterations of Tigress for decades. To share my passion for curation & artful explorations with you is a true delight.
