Hand crafted using a one-of-a-kind hand-carved stamps. Stoneware, Matte Glaze. Approximately 2 3/4” x 3 1/2" x1/4". Easy to hang with built in metal hanging loop. No two are ever exactly the same. These stamps are small, quiet tools, but they hold a lot of history. Many of the patterns are inspired by the artist's Hungarian heritage, the folk motifs and symbols she grew up seeing and feeling, mixed with forms pulled from nature and the simple devotion found in milagros. They carry a sense of protection, gratitude, and everyday reverence. Because the stamps are handmade and used by hand, each tile comes out slightly different. A curve here, a deeper impression there. Those variations are not flaws, they are the evidence of touch.
