The use of hand drawn kolka designs in Bengali weddings is steeped in tradition. This kolka journal is covered with a vegetable dye batik fabric. With assorted shades of recycled cream paper inside, the small size and string closure make it handy for a purse or night stand.
Since 1995, Bonoful Handmade Paper has been making paper, using hemp, wheatstraw, pineapple leaves, coconut fibres, and cotton waste.
